View and edit common PDF document metadata in your browser, then download a new PDF copy.
What this tool edits
It can read and write the PDF title, author, subject, keywords, creator and producer fields. You can also set the document modification date when saving. A new PDF is generated so your original local file is not overwritten.
The selected PDF is handled by JavaScript in your browser and is not intentionally uploaded to the Toolszzz server. The pdf-lib library itself is fetched from jsDelivr. Password-protected or encrypted PDFs may not load. Very large or complex PDFs can exceed browser memory even when they are below the 25 MB soft limit.
Metadata is not a security control
Changing document properties does not remove hidden content, attachments, annotations, revision history from other formats, or sensitive material visible on PDF pages. Review the downloaded file before sharing it.
